The providence center healthcare

The Providence Center (T.P.C.) provides mental health and addiction treatment services. The
institution resides in a linear and long rectangle building where the interior space results in
narrow, disorienting, and inward hallways and rooms that lack natural light. Hence, the challenge and the core design idea for T.P.C. is to transform it into an architecturally healing environment. The stimulation of
the psychological healing process begins at the moment of landing, entering the architecture, strolling down hallways, meeting with therapists, and until departing the building.

The strategy of intervention focuses on manipulating spatial outlines and optimal boundaries that relate peculiarly to clients’ perception.
